Musicnizer is an advanced music organizer that transforms your heap of audio files and CDs into a nice looking audio index, including album art, track info, critique, information about artists, biographies, discographies, and more.

A song collection nowadays may consist of Audio CDs, Audio DVDs, vinyl discs, song files in a popular format, like AAC, MP3, OGG, FLAC etc. Whereas this assortment is not always present in a single collection, it provides a clue how tricky the problem of managing music can be.

That is where a special music organizer may turn to be very useful.

Musicnizer browses your library of song files and creates a music database with details about each album and artist. Required details can be extracted from ID3 tags of the files. The application can also retrieve album art, track list, genre, year, label, album critique, and more.

With a music collection that consists of physical media (like vinyl records, or CDs), you can employ another way of putting data into Musicnizer. The program supports all sorts of USB barcode readers and portable scanners like Opticon OPN-2001. Simply scan barcodes off your album cases, and Musicnizer will automatically find data of the album on the internet.

For users who do not have any barcode scanners Musicnizer offers an exclusive feature: it can scan barcodes using a webcam!

Yet another way to insert an album is just typing its name into the program.

Unlike other song organizer tools, Musicnizer offers fairly much data about artists. At your demand it will download basic info, biography, discography, pictures. All items are displayed as links, so simply click an album in a discography to navigate to its page. A click on a genre will display all albums of this genre from your library.

Once entered, all info from the song library can be easily sorted and filtered. Reports will export or print any details of your catalog. The loan manager is very helpful for users who give their discs to friends.

The numerous functions of Musicnizer can be further extended with various plugins.
